Causey Hill Holiday Park is ideally situated in the rolling Northumberland countryside just a stone’s throw away from the historic town of Hexham. Easily accessible from the M6 and the north-eastern cities of Newcastle, Middlesbrough and Sunderland, owning your very own luxury static caravan in this tranquil setting will be your little piece of Eden away from the hustle and bustle.

The north-east of England has much to offer in the way of activities, from fishing to horse riding, climbing, swimming and golf. You can also ramble on the many paths near to our site including the fabulous Hadrian’s Wall (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). To put it simply, if it’s adventure you’re looking for, Causey Hill has it in abundance.

If you’re an avid walker or just fancy a gentle stroll, then the paths of Northumberland have much to entice you. Why not bring your dog and meander around Roman ruins, the gothic cathedral of Hexham, or visit the hills and mountains of the Northumberland National Park, Lake District or North Pennine Way - all of which are within driving distance of Causey Hill Park.

Did you know that our park has also been given the David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation? We regularly hold RSPB guided bird watching tours and the surrounding nature is one of many reasons people choose Causey Hill Park over other holiday parks in the area.

We have starter holiday homes right through to brand-new top of the range static caravans on our Causey Hill Holiday Park, located in one of the most desirable spots in the north east. So, if you’re not looking for adventure and simply want to relax then why not take in the pristinely kept grounds, the beautiful vistas or enjoy lunch on the veranda of your new holiday home. A 2-mile drive or walk will take you into Hexham itself, full of restaurants, cafes, country pubs and boutique shops.

If you’re looking for an alternative to the holiday parks of the Lake District or Scottish Highlands, then why not download our free brochure and see just what Northumberland has to offer you. You can also look through our available static caravans below to find the holiday home for you, for holidays close to Hexham, Carlisle, Newcastle, Alnwick and Middlesbrough.

Important information

for Daly Park owners

As you know the Prime Minister declared a National Emergency last night and the government has put in place severe restrictions on travel outside your home and have put in place measures to aid this. Among these measures is the closure of caravan parks many of the parks in the area have closed already such as Holgates, Beetham, Lake District Estates and Holker Group Parks among a few.

Therefore in accordance with the government directive we have to close our parks effective immediately and remain closed until such time the government tells us we can reopen. If you are on the park already we ask that you leave the park by 4pm Tuesday the 24th March 2020. Anyone at home must not come to the park until we have been advised by the government that you can return. No visits are permitted during this closure.

None of us in our lifetime have had to face anything the like of what is happening in not only our country but around the world and it is our social responsibility to consider our part in the spread of this virus and on the strain on the local communities we are a part of. We all need to play our part in stopping this deadly virus and protect our families, loved ones, friends and communities.

For more information on the government closures of caravan parks the link is below and can be found in the section Closing Non-essential Shops And Public Spaces where the directive lists the closure of hotels, hostels, bed and breakfasts, campsites, caravan parks and boarding houses.

We ask all our owners to keep safe along with their families and we will be here waiting to welcome you back once we are through this challenging time our country is undergoing.

Best wishes and stay safe - Hugh Daly
