Activities on a Pet-Friendly Static Caravan Site

Posted 30 January 2020

Families come in all shapes and sizes, with many including the four-legged type as well! So, here at Causey Hill static caravan park in Durham we believe your beloved pooch should always be able to join you on your adventures and holidays. That’s why holidaying in this country is a great choice, taking a pet abroad can be a daunting task but with Causey Hill pet-friendly static caravan site, your pet will always be welcome to join you on weekend trips and long stays alike

What’s more, as Causey Hill is an owners only caravan park, your dog will feel just as comfortable as you in your home-from-home, so it never feels lost.

Additionally, right on your doorstep at Causey Hill pet-friendly static caravan site, you’ll find a whole list of activities and walks across the nearby countryside, for you and your pet to enjoy together.

If you’re a foodie or drink connoisseur, Hexham has a great range of pet-friendly pubs, wine bars, restaurants and cafés for you to enjoy. You can find a full list of places to visit with your pooch at
useyourlocal. com/pubs-in-hexham/that-are-dog-friendly

A short drive to both the Northumberland National Park and the North Pennines, you’re never far from a long hike, great for dusting off the cobwebs. Another great walk is Hadrian’s Wall, whilst the full length is an impressive 84 miles, many of our owners choose to walk sections of the wall with each visit to us.

Then, at the end of a long walk or just a day mooching around Hexham, return to our pet-friendly static caravan site to enjoy a homely night in, all in the company of your four-legged best friend.

Important information

for Daly Park owners

As you know the Prime Minister declared a National Emergency last night and the government has put in place severe restrictions on travel outside your home and have put in place measures to aid this. Among these measures is the closure of caravan parks many of the parks in the area have closed already such as Holgates, Beetham, Lake District Estates and Holker Group Parks among a few.

Therefore in accordance with the government directive we have to close our parks effective immediately and remain closed until such time the government tells us we can reopen. If you are on the park already we ask that you leave the park by 4pm Tuesday the 24th March 2020. Anyone at home must not come to the park until we have been advised by the government that you can return. No visits are permitted during this closure.

None of us in our lifetime have had to face anything the like of what is happening in not only our country but around the world and it is our social responsibility to consider our part in the spread of this virus and on the strain on the local communities we are a part of. We all need to play our part in stopping this deadly virus and protect our families, loved ones, friends and communities.

For more information on the government closures of caravan parks the link is below and can be found in the section Closing Non-essential Shops And Public Spaces where the directive lists the closure of hotels, hostels, bed and breakfasts, campsites, caravan parks and boarding houses.

We ask all our owners to keep safe along with their families and we will be here waiting to welcome you back once we are through this challenging time our country is undergoing.

Best wishes and stay safe - Hugh Daly
